PRKThese Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PRK mobile application and related services (the "Service"), operated by PRK ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
PRK helps you look up NYC parking summonses, generates a proposed dispute letter using AI assistance, and — after human review — files that dispute with the NYC Department of Finance ("DOF") on your behalf. PRK also provides parking regulation information, alerts, and navigation features.
2. Fees & Payment
- Using PRK to look up tickets and generate a dispute is free.
- You are only charged if your dispute results in the ticket being dismissed or reduced. The fee is 30% of the ticket amount saved, charged to the payment method you have on file via Stripe.
- You are never charged upfront, and PRK does not charge a subscription fee for the core dispute service.
- Certain features (such as premium navigation tools) may require a separate subscription, which will be clearly disclosed and requires your affirmative purchase before any charge.
3. No Guaranteed Outcome
PRK builds the strongest dispute the facts support, but we do not guarantee that any dispute will be successful. The final decision on any parking summons rests solely with the NYC Department of Finance / Administrative Law Judge. PRK is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice; using PRK does not create an attorney-client relationship.
4. Your Responsibilities
- You must provide accurate information about your vehicle, your ticket, and the circumstances of your dispute.
- Any statement you submit through PRK — including the dispute letter filed on your behalf — is certified by you as true. Submitting false or fabricated information to a government agency may carry legal consequences independent of PRK.
- You are responsible for reviewing the dispute letter presented to you before it is finalized for filing.
5. AI-Generated Content
Dispute letters are drafted with AI assistance and reviewed by a person before filing, as described in our Privacy Policy. AI-drafted text may occasionally be inaccurate; PRK's human review step exists specifically to catch this, but you remain responsible for the accuracy of what is ultimately submitted under your name.
6. Account & Termination
You may stop using PRK and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide fraudulent information, or misuse the Service.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PRK is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including an unsuccessful dispute outcome. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
